This is a conference report:

"An Appetite for Romance: How to Understand, Buy, Display, and Promote Romance Fiction" was the theme of one of the 1995 Chicago Cluster Workshop Series held March 23-25. This day- and-a-half-long workshop sponsored by the Public Libraries Association focused on defining the romance genre and helping librarians identify strategies for strengthening their romance collections and provide better services for their romance readers.
