Here's the abstract for Chapter 6,

Mediated Memories and Nostalgia in Cyberspace

This chapter explores manipulations of memory within the context of popular genres like the colonial romance. Through the textual analysis of Noel Barber’s novel Tanamera which celebrates English heroism and its contribution to the defeat of the Japanese and its continuing popularity as evident in the Amazon and Goodreads reviews, the chapter examines the formations of collective memory and nostalgia in the digital marketplace.
