Elina Valovirta’s chapter “The Stuff of Which Fairy Tales Are Made: Royal Romance, Ordinariness and Affectivity in the Literary Market,” [...] considers a long-standing source of feminist controversy, that of royal weddings, now restyled in the wake of recent royalty-commoner marriages. The chapter analyses three novels published as ebooks, sold cheaply and consumed tacitly, as well as the paratexts that contribute to their commodification. In this respect, Valovirta points towards the interconnections between romance and its marketing business. (20)
