I have not been able to access this but the abstract mentions some that teenagers who became pregnant "far more often judged soap operas and romance novels to epitomize real life, typical dating patterns, and their own dating relationships."

Gregson and Lois (2021) write that

Muram et al. examined whether the pregnancy histories of a sample of Black high school girls correlated with their romance novel reading. It didn’t, but the very question reflected stereotypes about both romance readers and Black teenage girls. (342-343)
