The University of Melbourne's library lists the author as "Maylyn" as well as "May" and since there is a Maylyn Lam who submitted a PhD thesis on romance in 1994, also at the University of Melbourne, I thought that probably meant they were the same person, and have given the author's name in both cases as Maylyn Lam. In addition, Gilbert and Taylor (1993) refer to the author of "Reading the sweet dream" as "Maylyn Lam."
