The internet has become an increasingly important channel for communication among romance writers and readers, for dissemination of information, and for purchasing romances, including out-of-print or rare materials. This report outlines the ways the Internet was being used in 1996, with the understanding that when Paradoxa appears in Spring 1997 some of the sites and functions described will have been altered, superseded or eliminated and that others will have appeared.
