This chapter explores one sub-community of the romance community: those who post on the Smart Bitches Who Love Trashy Books (SBTB) website. By analyzing the interaction in "Covers Gone Wild" entries and the role it plays in creating and sustaining the SBTB subculture, we can learn more about the way one segment of the romance community works.
