Minor romance novel is a form of literature still heavily prejudiced against even though it appeals to many readers. Whether libraries should purchase that literature is a question about running the collections which is stirred by the law of supply and demand. This master's thesis aims at defining what a minor romance novel is, analysing professionals' opinions on the subject and settling the place it should take in library collections.
